Embody a skeletal accountant in this spreadsheet gritty
In the creation of video games on that point are some of us who are very, very contented to play a game that looks like a spreadsheet. Game designers, but then, spend a lot of time designing systems inside of spreadsheets. Alexander B. B. King, a prof of game design at NYU's Game Center, gave his students an assignment: Make a prototype game that exists inside a spreadsheet.
Unitary of these projects, past project student Jordan Grayson, is Dividends & Decomposition: Accounting for the Infernal, and it's somewhere betwixt a joke about my favorite rather secret plan and an actual example of my favorite rather halt. Described thusly: "Play Eastern Samoa an undead accountant managing the infernal spreadsheets of a necromancer!"

You can play the game for free-soil by just making a copy of a Google Sheet. In information technology, you correspondence the books of an unholy army by processing entries into the logs as they look. Conflict a battle? Balance the books to account for lost equipment, then sign polish off on the incoming. Evil Overlord supply some weapons to the goblin resistance? Deduct those from the totals. Steal potions from elves? Add those to inventorying, but remember we didn't pay back for them in the least.
Be sure that everything balances at the end, of course.
It's a weird little thing to do, and it's just a prototype that doesn't bring forward so much meter, but I was sure A hell amused by it. You can examine Dividends &adenosine monophosphate; Decay via Jordan Grayson's scratch.io page.
